Tourism companies introduced tours for lunar New Year (Tet). 

Discovering Vietnam is a trans-Vietnam tour offered by Vietravel, giving tourists the chance to see famous landscapes from north to south Vietnam, including Nha Trang, Da Nang, Hue, Quang Binh, Nghe An, and Hanoi. The 15-day tour will begin on January 28, 2006.  

Meanwhile, Volunteer Youth Tourism Company has introduced a tour to Phan Thiet over two days and one night, including visits to Hon Rom – Mui Ne, Lac Long Quan spring, and Ta Cu to see Southeast Asia’s biggest Buddhist statue. The tour will begin on January 30, 2006.  

Other attractive tours for Tet include a four day- three night tour to Da Lat, one to northern provinces (four days three nights), Ninh Thuy – Yang Bay, and others organized by Lua Viet, My Ha Travel, and Festival companies. 

Similarly, Lua Viet Company introduces its “Mud-bath tour” to Binh Chau – Long Hai in southern Vung Tau province, while Vietnam Travel Guide will organize tours to Dao Ngoc including offshore fishing and cuttle-fishing at night. The tour will take place over three days and two nights, beginning on January 30.  

In Vietnam’s mountainous areas, you can join “Waking up Central Highlands’ spring” tour by Festival Company, allowing tourists the opportunity of living with Jarai people in Pleiphun village to learn how they welcome in the new year, and discover symbols of the Central Highlands such as Konklo chain-bridge, Thua Sai friary, and Draysap waterfall. The tour will take place over four days and three nights, beginning on January 31.
